Mimi is currently the Producer for Clean Break. Prior to this she has worked as a Producer, Project Manager and Administrator for companies including Talawa, Fuel, the National Theatre and Paines Plough.
From 2015 to 2017 she produced Talawa Firsts with readings including Half Breed by Tash Marshall, Check the Label by Eno Mfon and …hour by Babirye Bukilwa.
At Fuel, she produced The Dark by Nick Makoha and The Day I Fell Into a Book by Lewis Gibson, and worked with artists including Roy Alexander Weise and Melanie Wilson.
She began her career at the NT where she supported Associates Marianne Elliott, Howard Davies and Rufus Norris.
She provides consultancy and mentorship for artists at early stages of their careers and is an advocate for inclusive practice. She has previously participated on panels for the NT, China Plate Theatre and Creative Access.
She has a Masters in Theatre Directing and a BA in Drama and Theatre Studies from the University of Kent.
She has been on the judging panel for the Alfred Fagon Award since 2017.
